Profile
I am a counsellor and psychotherapist and have been counselling individual clients since 2000.
In September 2004 I was awarded the Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF) Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Studies and I became an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) in January 2005. In June 2007 I gained an MA in Psychodynamic Studies at WPF in conjunction with Roehampton University.
In 2008 I completed a training in Developing Supervision Skills with the British Association of Psychotherapists (BAP). I have since gained a Diploma in Group Supervision with the Institue of Group Analysis (IGA).
I have also completed the WPF Post Qualifying Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to further augment my professional knowledge and skills.
In 2012 I completed a certificate training with the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships (TCCR) in psychosexual therapy.
I have a firm commitment and belief in continuing professional development I regularly attend ad hoc trainings, seminars and conferences to extend my knowledge and keep up to date with current thinking.
As an accredited member of the BACP and a member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) I subscribe to the BPC and the BACP code of ethics. In line with this my work is regularly supervised by a registered and qualified supervisor.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Supervision (BAPPS).
